At The Last Cut, we use the latest in video technology to make sure that your project radiates excellence. We use all digital video cameras, including the new Panasonic DVX100, which has the ability to record in 24p mode for an outstanding film-like look. All of our editing is completed on Final Cut Pro 4, the hottest editing system on the planet. DVD's are mastered right here in the office, and only take hours to make rather than days- which means you get your project faster.
We can convert your old photographs into digital form with our high resolution scanner. We can also convert your old video tapes or S-VHS tapes with our special digital decks. Special equipment has recently been aquired to make bulk copies of DVD's and CD's which simultaneously print unique photos onto the media in an amazingly clear fashion.
On the job site, we have a Lectrosonic wireless lavalier for a roaming speaker, which gets your message across clear as a bell. A Sennheiser shotgun microphone is also used to pick up the ambient sounds for larger rooms, parties, and presentations. We also have a plethora of other microphones and mixing hardware for just about any application.
For lighting, we employ a large lighting kit useable for any situation you can think of. We also use a Frezzi Micro Fill light on top of our cameras, for roaming productions that you might have. The Last Cut also specializes in "Green Screen" video, which we can do at just about any location. A green screen allows you to broadcast moving video behind a speaker for a professional look to your project. To add to our arsenal, we use a FlowPod stabilizing system, which gives a professional crane-like movement to any special shots you may need in your production.
