At The Last Cut, we use the latest in video technology to make sure that your project radiates excellence. We use all digital video cameras, including the new Panasonic DVX100, which has the ability to record in 24p mode for an outstanding film-like look. All of our editing is completed on Final Cut Pro 4, the hottest editing system on the planet. DVD's are mastered right here in the office, and only take hours to make rather than days- which means you get your project faster.
On the wedding site, we have a Lectrosonic wireless lavalier for the groom, which picks up not only the vows, but the memorable moments of the day. A Sennheiser shotgun microphone is also used to pick up the ambient sounds throughout the day, such as your band playing your first dance, or your guests tapping their glasses to see you kiss!
For lighting, we use a Frezzi Micro Fill light on top of our cameras, which captures important moments of the day, even on the dark dance floor. To add to our artistic camera pans, we use a FlowPod stabilizing system, which gives a professional crane-like movement to the shots we take.
All our equipment is micro-size so that we do not intrude unnecessarily on your event. We dress like one of your guests, and mingle with the crowd in such a way that you might mistake us for a distant cousin of your beloved. We are there to capture your special day, and not run the show like a movie director!
