"This is the wedding that convinced myself to become a videographer. The mother of the bride had been ill for some time, which meant she and her husband could not attend the wedding. By chance, Kevin and I had crossed paths and devised a way for the mother of the bride to see her daughter get married- through the magic of video.

The wedding itself was small but beautiful, set in the splendor of the Scottsdale, AZ desert. Although I had minimal equipment at the time, images and emotion had come to life to create a lasting memory not only for the mother of the bride, but for everyone involved.

I started The Last Cut because Nancy's letter had reminded me that so much of this emotion could easily become a faded memory. But the power of video will retain those memories forever, so that your children, and your grandchildren will be able to see through their own eyes, how much in love you were on your most special day."
